Just recently I posted about Reliance ADAG’s interest in forming a new production house with Steven Spielberg, and then this news comes out, that Big Home Video, one of Reliance ADAG’s entertainment company has signed with Warner Home Video to become the exclusive licensee in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. This means that Reliance is seriously entering the entertainment business with all the happenings. They have already launched a movie rental website, BigFlicks which means that even the Warner movies could be on the rental distribution too. Warner is a well known production house with a large number of big movies like Superman, Batman, Harry Potter, The Matrix Series, Ocean’s 11and many more.

Yes you read that correct, from a casual browsing of some movie related news I landed upon a news that caught my eye. India’s Reliance ADAG or Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group was in talks with DreamWorks to form a new studio with the DreamWorks’ co-founder Steven Spielberg. Spielberg founded DreamWorks in 1994. Since Paramount now owns DreamWorks, Reliance and Mr. Spielberg will form a new studio, IF the deal does work out. According to the various sites which carried the news, the new group will get most of its money from Reliance ADAG. Its ofcourse a great event in the history of film making becaue the biggest filmmaker in Hollywood would be teaming up with the biggest company in India. Reliance ADAG is already involved in the entertainment business with Adlabs, Big 92.7 fm and BigFlicks to name a few. And the teaming up with Steven Spielberg will do wonders, as both Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks need no introduction. They have made some well known movies like Saving Private Ryan, Minority Report, War of the Worlds and Transformers to name a few. So if the things work out, the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen could well be under the new group.

Every once in a while comes a movie which shocks you with something which you never expected, something which you never imagined, something which will reinstall faith in the sequel/comic book movie/big movies business. Yes The Dark Knight is simply a mind blowing experience and one which will surely be an all time favorite for many.

Mark Wahlberg plays the role of Max Payne and Mila Kunis plays the role of Mona Sax. Its looks great, Mark Wahlberg is a great actor and it even gave us some glimpses of that “bullet-time” action. I hope it lives up to the hopes of many Max Payne fans around the world. Video game adaptations usually dont always work, but this movie I hope changes that notion. The movie releases on October 17, 2008.

Now that you have watched it, I’m sure many of you must be wishing for more. Well bad news, not much is revealed, teasers are meant that way, but I’m sure we will get some more info and trailers after sometime, which I’ll keep you informed about. As for this trailer, we didn’t get much glimpse of Christian Bale or Sam Worthington, but it looks promising.

The new avatar of the famous Nike T90 series is out and its even better. It now has a even better “sweet spot” and a new “V-twin lacing” for better contact. They again have some color combos like the one in the pic below featuring a black and green combination, then they also have white/red combo, black/orange. Read more about the Nike T90 Laser II. We’ll get to see Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres sporting these shoes in the Premier League. The boot is really a mean looking thing, wonder what havoc Rooney and Torres are gonna wreak in the Premier League now 
There is also a new ball called Nike T90 Laser II Omni. Its a new looking ball with a very new design. Like Nike puts it “The revolutionary T90 Omni Ball provides a 360-degree sweet spot, increased visibility and cutting-edge panel architecture, there’s never been a more consistently accurate Nike ball.” It will feature in the Premier League’s new season as well.
